Martin Place, Sydney.  At a time of transition as the red and cream double decker bus livery gave place to green and cream.  A bus in wartime camouflage colours still requires repaint.  Such buses were used on troop movements to country areas and a camouflage scheme was considered a wise precaution against enemy attack.
