The New South Wales Rail Transport Museum holds an annual "Steamfest" at it's Thirlmere museum south of Sydney. A number of exhibits are returned to steam and a tourist train makes regular runs throughout the day between Thirlmere and the neighbouring town of Buxton. Here locomotive 2705 heads a Buxton-bound train through Couridjah platform at Steamfest 2010 on 7 March that year.
