Steve is proud to be associated with the Qantas Foundation Memorial and the project to return Qantas' first jet aircraft, VH-EBA, to Australia. Rechristened VH-XBA for the ferry flight from Southend in the United Kingdom, the Boeing 707-138B aircraft is now on permanent display at the Qantas Founders Museum at Longreach in Queensland. The full story of this amazing restoration project can be read at the "VH-JET#1and Her Sisters" website.

The concept of a series of paintings depicting the aircraft was formulated jointly with QFM very early in the life of the restoration project. This resulted in the five paintings displayed here, the originals of which now reside in the "707 Room" at the Qantas Founders Museum.

All the paintings are now available as limited edition prints, both framed and unframed, through the museum. Proceeds from the sales go to assist with the operation, upkeep and long -term goals of the museum. Unframed prints are also available direct through this website - click on the images at left for details.
